Summer Workshop for Children
Creative Arts Laboratory
Dette er en to dags workshop, for børn mellem 8 og 11 år, hvor vi leger og eksperimenterer med det at skabe kunst og at udtrykke sig, på mange anderledes og kreative måder.
Deltagerne vil arbejde både individuelt og i grupper. De vil i løbet af workshoppen lave forskellig kunst, som de vil tage med hjem.
This is a two days workshop where we will experiment with the process of creating art,
where the children will be expressing themselves in many different ways.
The children will work both individually and in groups. During the workshop, they will do different pieces of art to bring home.
Dates: 8-9 July ore 10-11 July
Time: 9.00 am to 3.00 pm both days
Age: 8-11 years,
(maximum 12 children per workshop)
Cost: 800 kr. inclusive all art materials
(5% proceeds from the workshops, goes to an art project "happiness by giving" between Denmark and India)
Bring: Clothing that don't mind getting dirty - A lunch box - And sense of humor and be prepared to get creative.
We will work with the creativity, making images with different materials, building small sculptures,
making portraits in a crazy way, using paint for other than painting and much more.
Throughout the workshop we will be two adults present at all time.
This allows us to split up the group, and have room for more creative experimentation.
And have more time with each child

Workshop Instructor:
Pernille Toft Lund is a qualified art teacher with numerous years of experience in teaching.
She is an artist and has worked and exhibited with different art expressions over the years. please look at this web-page
In recent years, her focus has been on conducting art workshops for children in India.
At the Workshop she is assisted by Sara Toft Jensen,
she is a qualified educator with many years of experience in working with children and young adults.
For several years, she has often been asked if she could conduct art workshops for children to develop their knowledge and creativity in art.
The desire to hold such workshops for children during the summer holidays has long been present.
Now, with her spacious new art studio, she will be able to put this plan into action!
