What Comes and Goes
Land-Art in Ejby Ådal, Denmark in April - June 2009
A locality-specific land-art project with dialog between elements, the water and the shore.
The work of art consists of the beach area and 70 discarded buckets – earlier used for transportation of cut off flowers. – in this way the buckets are back in use.
In this work of art it is the movement of the tide and how this interacts with the position of the buckets on the beach that has interested me.
The dialog between the nature and the buckets, how the colors playfully interact with each other and then again how they don’t, all because of the experience of the materials.
Yet again it is the stories that arise when you observe the work of art that are interesting, not my story with the person who experiences it, their story.
